These are the cover of two needle tatting books that is one plastic envelope and each also comes with one tatting needle, size (?)  and I also have two needle tatting needles seperate from the books, these two needles are each in a long tube with a needle treader.. One is a size #3.0 and the other needle is a size #7 fine. I

I would like to send the books and the two needle packages to just one person.. USA I will do the shipping in a manilla envelope.. if over seas, may need a lttle help in shipping due to postal pricing and with being in the hospital plus pills, a little short on the money.
Just email me if it is something that you will make use of and not sell...  stafney@web-ster.com

home from hospital.

Hello everyone! Thought I would share what I just wrote in my email post to my sister:
******************

"I was in the hospital for a couple days, just got home yesterday... the chest pain was not my heart but instead my  Esophagus keeps twisting itself... Also my legs are giving out on me and the upper part of my legs both hurt... The test they did on my leg veins show that in the right leg the veins is very clogged and the left is clogged but not as bad... so they are probably going to have me come back in and they will do stents in both legs...

ON my twisting Esophagus, they are going to send me to specialist and have them do (well not exactly sure what it is called sis), but will be like putting two popsicle sticks one on each side of my Esophagus, to keep it from twisting... As far as when this all happens. you know how the patient is the last to know... hopefully sometime this week...

When my  Esophagus does twist, the pain is unreal... I have to take Viacadin here at home, but in the hospital they gave me Morphine shots... If it gets to bad here at home, then I will  have to go back to the hospital so that they can give me Morphine... I am just praying that that won't happen and I can stay home till time to do the stents or surgery on my Esophagus..."
*******************

Other then above I am doing great... plan to do some CQing on a most beautiful red color study block for a round robin from the Newby CQ yahoo group I am in... That fabrics she used are awesome... velvet, satins, lace.. oh my.. I got to really up grade my work on this one...

oops and Charlton Heston (The Bible)

Yesterday I said I was going to have a ultra sound on my legs... well when I got the call, it was in a scanning vision place up by Portland, said I couldn't eat or drink for 6 hours before the test and the test took 2 hours... duh... that didn't sound like the ultra sounds I have had before.... so....

Relooked at the paperwork... and the test is a "Lower Extremity Arterial Exam" it is for Claudication... think that it is to test my leg veins to see if they are open and the blood is flowing... From what I understand they can go in and do a long stent type thing in each leg to keep them open...  I'll just be glad when it is all over with....I just don't want it to happen on or near next Tuesday... Tuesday is when I need to go to the 3rd week of Beth Moore's "Daniels" series... It is so in depth... I am learning so much thru her study, the work book and my Bible studing...

Now for the awesome news... my dear hubby let me order the "Bible Series" that Charlton Heston presents.... I have just got it, so have looked at only one of the dvd on the creation...

It is not like a movie where there are actors playing rolls, each DVD is Mr. Heston walking or driving or reading from the bible at the Holy Land with magnificent pictures showing what maybe the creation, Adam and Eve, ect ... Each DVD is about 45 minutes long..

I did scan (I hope I am not infringing on any copy right) the cover of the amazing book that cam with the 4 DVD's... I also received two CD's, one is the soundtrack and the other is Charlton Heston reading the Psalms...
Here is the cover of the book

Totally amazing book and the pictures that are in it are breath taking! plus the writing is in a bigger print... will really be interesting to my three granddaughters...
This was the best $90.00 I (er my hubby)  :0) ever spent... Here is where you can get any info:

Personally, I want to thank all of you who have commented or emailed me on how you are holding me in your prayers.. The Power of Prayer!! I am just amazed at how far reached prayers stretch to each of us!!!

Morning and stents

morning...  I do have a picture of my red block for a one on one swap/work with a new friend who lives in Aurstralia...
This is my red color study block thru the CQ for Newby group..  I had a lot of fun working on it getting ready for it to mail off today to Australia...

I will be going for a ultra sound on both of my upper legs this Friday to see what is wrong... have slowely (but to fast for me) losing all my strength in my legs... walking just down my hall is hard and does make my upper legs hurt and going up stairs or up from a normal higth chair is just about impossible... they think they may have to do two stints (one in each leg artery)... I am not afraid of getting stents have had a couple in my heart several years ago...  if that will help me, I am all for it...

I got plenty of projects to work on if I do have the stents and am in the hospital for a couple days.. Prayer shawls, couple CQ blocks and a beaded ornament I have started.!  hmmm now that makes everything sound so much happier...

I do ask you for prayers that all goes well, they get it fixed and I can start to enjoy walking with my girl (pup named Patches, she don't like being called the D word) and able to get in and out of our 5th wheel....

I am hoping my stent surgery will be after nextTuesday, as Tuesday nights for a total of 12 weeks having been going to a Bible Study put on by a church in my area that is showing the film study of Beth Moore on the Book of Daniels...

Last night was about how the three men who were with Daniel were thrown into the fire and yet when others looked into the fiery furnace they saw 4 men instead.. the forth was some say was a angel, but Beth feels it was Jesus himself who was with the men... and when the three men were taken out of the fire not even their clothes or hair smelled of smoke! What a insight this is and also a message... no matter what the circumstances are we ARE NOT ALONE!

I just needed to share this with you, it just really makes me feel so blessed!

Beautiful day in Oregon!

Todat is a perfect early Spring day in Oregon... Sky is blue, most of the leaves are off the trees and our grass is green with the daffodils in yellow bloom!

Got my teeth today... feels like I have a mouth full of  cotton.. will take a bit of time to get use to them again...

Isn't this about the most beautiful wood work you have ever seen! My brother, Dean made this for me... took him many, many hours to cut it out... It is the Lords Prayer... I am so blessed to have a brother like Dean.. Him and his wife "Marge" are such beautiful Christians wh so love the Lord and shares that love with anyone who sees them...

I am working on a red color block in the cq Newby yahoo group... I am to do a little and then send it off by the 14th for it to go to five other ladies who will do their awesome work on it...

Psalm 119:105

Last night I was reading in my Woman's Daily reading and this passage from the Bible struck out at me, grabbed me by my heart and said this was ment for me to remember and share...

Psalm 119:105
"Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light for my path"

When I think of this, I feel so warm and safe, knowing that the light of my Heavenly Father is shinning if front of me, I just need to follow his path for my life!

Have a great day everyone!

hello and new diary

Hello everyone!  I wanted to show you my diary cover... my really good friend, Jessica made this for me last year... I know I am late in showing it off, but isn't it amazing... a notebook that is removable so I can put another one it is is inside. and it keeps closed with the pen that goes thru the loops.. Isn't it awesome!

For what started out a ruff day ended up a great day after all! I am going to share something with you all of such a stupid thing I did... Yesterday I took out my bottom teeth, yea I have dentures... any way I took them out an put them in a paper bowl and then put some kleenex on top and threw them into the burn GARBAGE! Yea, you read right, the burn garbage of of course my hubby did his hubby thing this morning and burned the garbage and my teeth! They melted like you would not believe and with the expression of one tooth that the bottom of the tooth was still there... but other then that a melted, tangled mess!!!

I had to go today (thank you dentist) and get fitted for another set... will take about 3 weeks to get a whole new set... I will scan my melted mess and show you another time... am thinking of making into a beaded pin... as a reminder!

I have lots of leftoverr Caron Simply Soft (which is my favorite yarn to make prayer shawls with) so I found a pattern that I can make using up the leftover colors to make on multi color shawl...

will post pictures later...

Now I have finally dug it out and am working on covering the seams with ribbons and trim, then I will do some embordery work plus do some beading around the outer edge of her face and am thinking of also doing beaded hair for her...

I am doing much better... walking a little slowely without a walker... doing some leg exersises to strengthen my legs and really praising God for his miracles, for his strength and for his love!!! Withou him in my life, I would be nothing! I am so truly blessed as we all are!

Feeling the touch of God is so warm and so real!!

Good Morning and new ornament

Good Morning everyone! Had a little time before my home health nurse came, wanted to drop a line and let everyone know how very much I have needed and felt your prayers!!! I am so doing so much better.

Above is a ornament I did before I went into the hospital... the directions called for size 11 beads, but when I bought the book and the beads (with the owners help) I didn't know there was 15's and 11's or other sizes, so I brought home the wrong size... But with the money I had spent on the beads, I was determine to use them...

I added a long fringe and found a perfect ornament at the store the hold it.... All and all, I am very happy with it! I love making ornaments and hope to thru out this year make up some different scenic ornaments as Christmas gifts, plus for my own tree...

Well, best I better close, she should be here any moment!
hugs to all,
Veleta
